Hi there. I'm Akos, a NY-based Creative Director (Art), originally from Budapest, Hungary, currently living and freelancing in NY.
For the past 8 years, I got the opportunity to work at some of the best agencies in the world, with some of the most amazing people on the planet.
Here are some of the highlights:
In 2019 I ranked as "2nd most awarded Creative" both at the One Show and at Cannes Lions,
after winning a Titanium Grand Prix with "Whopper Detour" for Burger King. And another Grand Prix. And another one, along with 50+ more awards.
And there was the time we won the LG and BK businesses over at FCB NY, eventually landing FCB NY on the AdAge Creativity A-list for the first time in 20 years.
And then there was the time we helped retain the Starbucks business at BBDO. And when we sold a global platform to Pedigree.
And the time we worked with Michael J. Fox and the Time Machine for a GE ad.
And when I casually chatted about lucid dreaming with Michel Gondry during a 6-week long production road-trip in Europe.
And it all began with placing our portfolios in agency bathrooms, so CD-s would actually read them. Turned out, they did.
Besides making ads, I also enjoy directing music videos and short films, build bikes and wooden things.
